Über mich
As a person and therapist I value an explicitly warm, caring, authentic and informal setting.
I am extremely committed to my clients’ healing, hence offering only cutting edges methods of therapy, taking regular supervision to minimize my “own blind spots”, and being connected with highly experienced and committed therapists both locally and Worldwide. I am also very committed to my own healing and growth as a person, as a person in a couple relationship, as a proud mother of a 3 year old girl, multicultural friend and citizen of this amazing and so fragile world.
I am myself an immigrant that lives in a bicultural marriage and speakers 3 languages (Portuguese, English and German) and 1 dialect (Swiss German ☺) everyday and faces the challenges and joys of integration since 2012. I am originally from Portugal and have lived also in Berlin. I travel often due to professional and family reasons to NYC, which I consider home away from home, in addition to Lisbon.
Moreover, I know all the clinical methods I use in my work (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy) inside out, since I have done and continue to do my own internal work.
