About me
Dr Alan Pegna is a clinical neuropsychologist with broad experience in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of cognitive difficulties associated with different neurological conditions (Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, neurodevelopmental disorders).
Dr Pegna earned Masters degrees from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and from University College London (UK), as well as a PhD from the University of Geneva in 1998. He completed his clinical training at Geneva University Hospitals and became a registered clinical neuropsychologist both in Switzerland (Federation of Swiss Psychologists) and in Australia (Australian Health Professional Registration Agency). Dr Pegna worked at the Neuropsychology Unit/Neurology Clinic in Geneva for over 25 years, as well as in private practice in Brisbane (Australia). He was previously Professor of Psychology at the University of Geneva and is also an Honorary Associate Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Queensland (Australia).
He is an active clinician and carries out assessments and neuropsychological rehabilitation when possible and appropriate.
