About me
Dr Alan Pegna is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of cognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders . He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Geneva and worked for over twenty years at the Geneva University Hospitals, also holding a position as Professor of Neuropsychology (University of Geneva), before continuing his activity in Australia as Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Queensland and as a private practitioner.
He is accredited as a Specialist in Clinical Neuropsychology by the Federation of Swiss Psychologists (FSP) and is a member of the Association of Swiss Neuropsychologists (ASNP). He is also an accredited clinical neuropsychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and currently serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Queensland.
Dr Pegna's expertise covers cognitive disorders of neurological origin (including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury) as well as neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and learning disorders in school-age children (above 8 years of age), adolescents, and adults. He also provides neurofeedback sessions, a scientifically validated approach designed to enhance cognitive and emotional regulation.
