About me
I'm I psychologist and a couples and family therapist with more than 16 years of clinical experience. I trained in Venezuela as a Psychologist and in the U.S. (Northwestern University) as a Marriage and Family therapist. I obtained the recognition of my degree in Switzerland and I am now a Psychologue FSP.
I have extensive training in couples and family systems approaches, as well as in EMDR, CBT and DBT. I have extensive clinical experience that I gained working for outpatient hospital clinics in the U.S. specifically Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL U.S, and University of Wisconsin Health in Madison, WI, U.S.
I've devoted my career to helping people navigate the complexities of life and achieve emotional wellbeing. My approach centers on empathy, attunement, and collaboration—creating a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
I am well versed in treating emotional distress, symptoms of depression, anxiety, or persistent sadness, the impact of trauma or vicarious trauma, difficulties coping with major life transitions, relationship and communication issues, marital distress, the challenges of transitioning into parenthood, family-related stressors, the unique pressures faced by expats and foreign nationals living, working, and raising families away from home.
I provide services in English and Spanish.
