Specialisation
"Every person is unique, and that alone makes them incredibly valuable. Together, we will find ways to draw new strength from your crisis."
About me
I have many years of experience in psychological counseling and therapy, both in Switzerland and in international contexts. Through my work with expats, intercultural teams, refugees, and clients struggling with addiction, I have built solid expertise in resilience building, emotional regulation, trauma, and systemic, solution-focused counseling. My approach is characterized by empathy, flexibility, and interdisciplinary knowledge, with particular emphasis on perspective-taking and maintaining a solution-oriented attitude. Colleagues and clients value my ability to combine Swiss reliability with African ease, which enables me to act professionally while remaining deeply human, even in challenging situations.
I hold a PhD in Psychology (University of Zurich, UZH) and, alongside nine years of counselling experience, I have completed various advanced trainings in systemic therapy, solution-focused counselling, systemic constellation work, trauma response, intercultural and transcultural communication, suicidal tendency and crisis intervention.
In my work as a psychologist, it is essential for me to meet people on equal terms—only when the therapeutic relationship is right and there is a “match” between client and therapist, real processes can unfold. I place great importance on creating a safe space where trust, appreciation, and authenticity are central. Without shame and with a great deal of respect, I offer a place where people can share their experiences, develop, and gain new perspectives.
