Specialisation
I offer psychological support with transcultural expertise and a focus on trauma-related disorders.
About me
I am a clinical psychologist, graduated from the University of Padua (degree federally recognized in Switzerland), with a specialization in Psychodynamic Transcultural Psychotherapy obtained at the Transcultural Institute for Health in Milan. I also have specific training in the treatment of trauma-related disorders, consolidated through training in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).
The guiding principle of my clinical work is “the patient is my teacher.” I strongly believe that each person carries within themselves the knowledge of their own healing process, and that my role is to accompany them—through clinical competence as well as through attentive and authentic presence—in rediscovering it.
I have collaborated for several years with a Family Centre, supporting adolescents, adults, and families in psychological and psychotherapeutic pathways. Through contact with a wide range of situations, I have developed solid clinical expertise and a sensitivity to different forms of psychological distress. I have also carried out assessments of parental competencies in the context of child protection, in collaboration with local child welfare services, and have designed and delivered psychoeducational and prevention projects in primary and lower secondary schools. In parallel, I have worked extensively in reception centres for migrants - both in Italy and in Canton Ticino - providing psychological support to beneficiaries and conducting training and supervision for social workers. I have also worked in humanitarian contexts, including the West Bank and aboard the search and rescue vessel Humanity 1 in the Mediterranean Sea.
