Federally recognized psychotherapist with an integrative approach, specialised in Gestalt therapy.
About me
I am a federally recognized psychotherapist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and outpatient treatment of psychological disorders and stress-related conditions. I completed my psychotherapeutic training at the Institute for Integrative Gestalt Therapy Würzburg (Campus Zurich). In addition to my nearly four years of outpatient psychotherapeutic work at Luzerner Psychiatrie, I also worked as a lecturer, teaching in the Joint Master of Medicine at the University of Lucerne (Fall semesters 2022–2024). Furthermore, I was co-leader of the social competence training group at Luzerner Psychiatrie.
Before transitioning to psychotherapy, I spent over 18 years as a flight attendant—an experience that provided me with deep insights into various cultures. As a migrant myself, having grown up in a totalitarian system and lived abroad for many years, I am familiar with the challenges of starting over in a new country. These personal experiences shape my special interest in working with migrants and refugees, as well as at the intersection of psychiatry and asylum law, particularly regarding the relevance of mental health in asylum procedures.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, with a focus on Gestalt therapy, complemented by specialized methods such as Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), EMDR, and Social Competence Training (SKT). I have experience treating ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), affective disorders, burnout, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. I offer therapy in individual and group settings, as well as sessions with relatives.
I combine scientifically grounded methods with an integrative approach to provide tailored therapeutic support.
