Specialisation
For 18 years I have been gently and compassionately helping my clients deal with a variety of psychological problems
About me
I work with Russian-speaking clients online all over the world.
My first education is a PhD in Pathophysiology. Understanding the organization and functioning of the nervous system and the brain helps me in my work as a psychologist.
I received my psychology education in 2007 at the East European Institute of Psychoanalysis in Saint Petersburg, Russia. At the institute, I completed 300 hours of individual psychoanalytic training, after which I began practicing with clients, regularly attending supervision. I also participated in summer psychoanalytic schools, international and Russian psychoanalytic conferences. I received additional psychoanalytic education in the fields of individual psychotherapy, child and adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy, systemic-dynamic family psychoanalytic therapy, and analysis of organizations and advertising – a psychoanalytic approach. I attended seminars and master classes by specialists such as Otto Kernberg, Frank Yeomans, Nancy McWilliams, Estela V. Welldon, Eric Smandj, and Jean-Michel Quinodoz.
In 2017-2018, I trained as an EMDR therapist with Udi Oren and have participated in all international European and Russian EMDR conferences since 2019. I trained with leading EMDR specialists such as Isabel Fernandez, Olivier Piedfort-Marin, Ad de Jongh, completed a four-module program with Bessel van der Kolk, and attended seminars and master classes by many other leading EMDR specialists. In 2021, I received the title of Accredited Practitioner in EMDR from the EMDR Europe Association.
During the pandemic, I participated in volunteer group online sessions to help Russian-speaking people cope with anxiety, and after the pandemic, with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
In my work, I use knowledge of modern psychoanalysis - object relations theory and attachment theory, the EMDR approach (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), cognitive and dialectical behavioural therapy, IFS, schema therapy, and bilateral stimulation from the EMDR approach.
Each person is unique, and I work with empathy and respect to help my clients overcome difficult life stages. I help them restore or improve their psychological well-being, paying attention to:
