About me
Psychologist recognized at cantonal and federal level.
Her educational and professional path has led her to specialize in consultancy, diagnosis and treatment of various mental pathologies, even in the acute phase. She has consolidated experience in developing psycho-educational projects for people of all ages, offering them the necessary and targeted practical knowledge in order to promote social, scholastic and/or professional adaptation.
She has experience in assisting adults with multiple disabilities, behavioral and mixed problems, as well as intervening with children suffering from developmental disorders, psychosis or specific learning deficits. She was also one of the first psychologists in Switzerland to offer home-based psychological and educational support to adults suffering from acute psychiatric disorders, personality disorders, affective and neurotic syndromes, stress and somatoform disorders.
Her clinical practice has been enriched by research carried out in the field of cognitive development with a lifespan perspective, also contributing to the creation of training tools at an international level. She has also worked in fragile contexts in Africa, offering psychological support to street girls and to the staff of a United Nations peacekeeping mission, participating in the management of various critical emergency situations. She was a psychopedagogical coordinator in the minors sector and is currently employed as deputy chief psychologist at the Swiss Confederation. The professional experiences acquired at a national and international level, together with her linguistic skills, facilitate exchanges with people of different cultures and religions. Capable of carrying out individual psychological and therapeutic interventions, she works mainly in an individualized and/or small group relationship (couple and family).
The theoretical framework that forms the backdrop to her work is the psychodynamic approach, which focuses on the relationship, attributing a fundamental role to the mental life of the individual through the exercise of one's capacity for reverie. Through this therapeutic approach we try to bring to consciousness the unconscious fantasies and conflicts that underlie the difficulties, paying particular attention to the influence of affectivity on the development of the ability to think, with a view to promoting the development of potential, of the autonomy and social integration of each individual. It is a transformative process, of personal growth towards one's independence. The inclination to accept multiple psychotherapeutic orientations (systemic-relational, cognitive-behavioral, Jungian analytical) allows her to have an integrated approach.
