About me
Working in partnership with the child or adolescent's attachment figures (parents, siblings, extended family) as well as with education professionals and other health specialists (pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, etc.) is at the heart of my work. With over 20 years' experience in my home country (Mexico) and abroad (USA, Japan and Switzerland), I can understand the impact of socio-cultural variables on emotional well-being and school performance, as well as the repercussions on family dynamics. My interventions stem from evidence-based psychological approaches, in which I use my clinical experience, available research data on the particular difficulty my client is facing, and also take into consideration the preferences, characteristics, needs and values of my client and his or her family.
