Professional and approachable
In my work as a therapist, I am guided by a humanistic, holistic view of the human being. Respect and therapeutic diligence are very important to me. I see therapy as an encounter between two people, whereby I see myself as an expert in dealing with emotions and you as an expert for yourself. Your needs provide the starting point for the therapeutic collaboration. Based on this, a plan for treatment and achievable therapeutic goals are developed together and reviewed and adapted over time. A shared understanding of the problem dynamics is also particularly important to me. In my way of working, I draw on various methods of Gestalt therapy, trauma therapy and body therapy. Being in the here and now plays a central role. I see my role as a psychotherapist not to solve your problems for you or to give you advice, but to meet you with interest and goodwill, to provide a relationship and a safe framework and to hold the space for development from within, or "bottom-up", which is not externally directed or head-led, but comes from your own life energy.
Training: Somatic Experiencing practitioner, NARM practitioner, EMDR practitioner, Ego-State-therapy, Therapy of structural dissociation according to Ellert Nijenhuis, various trauma therapy methods, systemic couple therapist, and Gestalt therapist as a basis.
I specialize in high-functioning autism and trauma-related disorders and incorporate the body into the therapy as it is part of us. I also carry out assessments for high functioning autism and ADHD for adults.
I do not have a waiting list.
