I welcome adults of all ages who are facing personal or relational difficulties that affect their quality of life.
About me
I see my profession and our therapeutic relationship as a mutual weaving where listening, empathy and patience are the most important virtues.
My goal is to provide support to people suffering from their situation and who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted. My consultations aim to revive their hope, to rebuild a positive image and to help them understand their thoughts and behaviors in order to become once again actors and actresses of their lives.
I mostly use methods from CBT (Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy), an active and collaborative approach that aims to improve thought patterns, modify behaviors, and manage emotions, with the aim of improving one's quality of life. CBT is particularly effective in treating difficulties such as anxiety, depression, phobias, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorders, burnout or relationship difficulties.
I am currently following continuous training in this approach, I am coached by my superiors and I make sure to keep up to date with the current scientific literature. My professional project is to become a psychotherapist specialized in CBT, in order to offer the best possible support, as well as to be reimbursed by the LAMal and to offer my services to a greater number.
I am trained in relaxation and anchoring techniques, in psychosocial rehabilitation as well as in the management of insomnia (in partnership with the Florimont Sleep Center, in Lausanne). I benefit from varied experiences in recovery, harassment management, neuropsychological assessments (ADHD, Autism, High IQ) and parental guidance.
I've worked with people affected by various issues. Most of the patients that I see are seeking therapy for issues related to the management of their emotions (anger, anxiety, sadness, fear, etc...) / behaviors / relationships, for life transitions, for depression, anxiety or phobias and for difficulties linked to daily hardships.
My goal is to help my patients rebuild a positive image of themselves and regain control over their thoughts and behaviors. Thus, my door will always be open to people looking for support, tools, reflection on themselves, as well as those wishing to learn a better way to manage their relationship with others, emotions and/or the trials of daily life. And of course, my door is also open to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Today, I offer in-person psychological support on Mondays and Fridays and remotely on other days. Starting a new activity in a new city, I accept new patients and can be reached by phone and WhatsApp (078 240 70 00) as well as by email (tara.tulipani@psychologie.ch).
