Specialisation
Individual and couples therapy, psychological counseling & coaching in multiple languages.
About me
I offer psychotherapy, psychological counseling, and coaching for adults and adolescents from the age of 15. I also conduct diagnostic assessments.
I am a gestalt therapist and also recognized as an EMDR therapist (a trauma treatment method). Additionally, I have completed various seminars and workshops on topics such as "Ego States," transgender and non-binary issues, as well as couples therapy.
In my work, I complement talk therapy with exercises, bodywork, psychodrama techniques, creative media, or constellations. It is important to me not only to talk about the issues, solutions, etc., but also to make them experiential and attempt to actively transform them within the therapy.
I work with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, age groups, with different issues, mental health conditions, concerns, etc. The versatility of my work is important to me.
The areas of concern may include depression, anxiety, psychoses, addiction, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, relationship problems, compulsions, identity issues, personal life crises, adjustment disorders, difficulties in relationships, at work, etc. If you are uncertain whether I can help with your concern, feel free to contact me.
As someone with an international background, working on intercultural difficulties, interpersonal conflicts due to different attitudes/expectations, language and culture-related problems, etc., is especially important to me.
Another area of focus for me is mental health within the LGBTIQ+ community. Although many topics within this community have been de-tabooed recently and there is clearly more acceptance in our society, there is still much ignorance and prejudice, and discriminatory incidents continue to occur. It is important to me to support the LGBTIQ+ community in their concerns and to accompany individuals in their search for (gender) identity and (sexual) orientation.
